Hello, I’m Menna and the potter behind Cleiog Ceramics.
The Welsh word ‘Cleiog’ literally translates to ‘an abundance of clay’, which seems fitting and connects to my Welsh heritage.
I make small batches of ceramics, all hand thrown in stoneware on my potter’s wheel. I take inspiration from vintage French pottery and fabrics. I have recently created my own glazes which I think adds a new quality and another dimension to my work.
My range is expanding all the time as I experiment with different clay, glazes, shapes and styles.
My ceramics are made to be enjoyed, used regularly and be a part of everyday living.
All my ceramics are microwave safe. They can be put in the dishwasher although hand washing is kinder.
